When you think of the Boston Celtics, you think green and gold. With current Jordan Brand athlete Jayson Tatum on the Green Team, it's not a surprise to see the latest Air Jordan signature silhouette, the AJ 36 come in a theme to match. But what doesn’t always happen is a retail release to coincide.
While Tatum has had special editions of the Air Jordan 34, 35, and 36 released in limited fashion, it looks like Jordan Brand is trying to capitalize on his popularity by dropping a GR colorway for his fans. While this “Green Spark” edition of the Air Jordan 36 isn’t a Jayson Tatum edition per say, its colorway is definitely one that matches his team’s colors. Sporting an all-green upper, black accents and gold details tie the Celtics theme together. All of this sits atop a full icy blue translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 36 Green Spark is set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online.
